学术警告

A student will be placed on academic warning if you achieve less than a cumulative 2.000 grade-point average on 12 or more units. Once placed on academic warning, a student will be limited to a maximum load of 12 units per semester until you are removed.

Removal From 学术警告:

Academic warning may be removed and regular status attained by achieving a cumulative 平均2.000或更高.

If a student is enrolled at PCC on academic warning, you are subject to dismissal if you fail to achieve a cumulative grade-point average of 1.两个各750 接下来的学期. However, you will not be dismissed following any term with a semester grade point average greater than or equal to 2.000 even though your cumulative grade-point average may be less than 1.750.

A student will be notified of their dismissal by the online grade reporting system and by the registration system. If you are enrolled in the following semester, you will be withdrawn from the college.

Readmission After Dismissal

After being dismissed, students may petition for readmission after a lapse of one semester or more, though readmission is not guaranteed.

To be readmitted, students must present positive evidence of serious intent to succeed and have a realistic academic goal identified.

To apply for readmission after dismissal, complete the Petition for Reinstatement on 警告 Status.

If the petition is granted, you will be admitted on academic warning and may have 人数的限制.

警告 for 令人不满意的 Citizenship

Students should be thoroughly familiar with the Associated Student Body Code of Conduct and with regulations of the college. As a student attending PCC, you are expected to maintain satisfactory standards of citizenship on campus and in the community. Satisfactory citizenship involves conduct which respects the rights of all individuals, which avoids action disruptive to the ongoing educational program, and which does not violate specific prohibitions outlined in the Education Code.

When it is indicated that citizenship is unsatisfactory, a student may be reprimanded, placed on disciplinary warning, suspended, or expelled, as conditions warrant. 令人不满意的 citizenship includes, among other things, cheating, plagiarism, hazing, and conduct disruptive to the teaching-learning process. In addition, falsification of information for the 招生 Office is basis for dismissal from a class or from the college.

Individuals engaged in destructive activities involving any kind of physical or psychological mistreatment of students are subject to prosecution under the California State law banning hazing and to dismissal from the college.

Penalties on individuals, organizations and institutions are severe.

进步的警告

Students will be placed on progress warning when 12 or more cumulative units are attempted and W, I, and NC units reach or exceed half the cumulative units attempted. Once placed on progress warning, you will be limited to a maximum load of 12 units per semester until you are removed.

Removal From 进步的警告:

You may be removed from progress warning status when the cumulative number of W, I, and NC units recorded is less than half the cumulative units attempted.
